Tensegrity is a two-day workshop designed to expand your assessment skills by helping you identify restriction patterns that contribute to dysfunction throughout the body. You will review core craniosacral assessment tools while learning to incorporate energetic anatomy, including chakras, meridians, energy fields, and the assemblage point, along with a review of visceral motility. Inhibition and resonance testing will be practiced to recognize restrictions working in interconnected patterns.

Tensegrity Workshop

Have fun exploring the fascinating interconnections within the fascial and energy systems of the body. Hone your assessment skills and do more by working less. 

Tensegrity is a created word blending tension and integrity. This two day workshop expands your assessment skills in finding restrictions that are causing many of the issues in the body.  We will review assessment options and expand them to involve the energetic anatomy of chakras, meridians, energy fields and assemblance point.  Visceral motility will be reviewed. Inhibition and resonance testing will be used to identify restrictions working in groups of twos and threes.

Dr Faith Christensen graduated from Bastyr University in 2001 and practiced in Seattle, Chicago, Central Utah, Colorado Springs and now resides in Brooklyn, NY. She began teaching Craniosacral Therapy in 2000 with Integrated Bodywork Institute, as an adjunct faculty at Bastyr University, and through Vita Vis.  Dr. Christensen has studied with Alain Gehin, DO, Nancy Soliven, MD, DC, Nancy Patterson, ND, LM, Upledger Institute, and Claudia Kohn, DO. She has published six manuals for various Craniosacral classes, gemstone therapy, Surviving Cold and Flu Season NaturallyHonoring The Wisdom In Nature: Messages From The Plant Kingdom and lectures on health and bodywork.

Dr Faith brings both scientific precision and deep reverence for the body’s innate intelligence — rooted in the belief that when the body is supported to truly integrate, the whole person becomes free to heal.

Registration Policies

A minimum enrollment of 8 students is required for each course and must be met 6 weeks prior to the start date. If this minimum is not reached, Vita Vis reserves the right to cancel the course. In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be issued minus a 5% credit card processing fee.

Refunds are available for cancellations received at least two weeks prior to the start of class, less a 5% credit card processing fee.
