Amazing Teaching and Guide
I had the privilege of taking a class on flower essences given by Dr. Faith Christensen. I was unfamiliar with flower essences at the time, but was intrigued by the interface between the natural world of flowers and their energy, and my ability to connect with that. Brain Balancing Craniosacral Series Brain Balancing is an advanced craniosacral training series taught by Dr. Christensen, developed over 17 years of clinical experience and designed to support neurological function through assessment and balancing of brain structures. Students will learn detailed palpation, motility evaluation, and treatment techniques to improve neural integration, circulation, and processing, with applications for concerns such as ADD/ADHD, learning and speech challenges, seizures, concussion, stroke recovery, sensory and balance issues, sleep, pain modulation, and autonomic regulation. The three-course series progresses from balancing the brain lobes (BB1), to the limbic system and brainstem (BB2), and into emotional patterning, pain pathways, and nervous system integration (BB3). Tensegrity Workshop Tensegrity is a two-day workshop designed to expand your assessment skills by helping you identify restriction patterns that contribute to dysfunction throughout the body. You will review core craniosacral assessment tools while learning to incorporate energetic anatomy, including chakras, meridians, energy fields, and the assemblage point, along with a review of visceral motility. Inhibition and resonance testing will be practiced to recognize restrictions working in interconnected patterns. Read more
Healing the Healer Healing the Healer Workshop is designed to delve deeper into somatoemotional release techniques while focusing on themes and patterns common to healers. Integrative Approach to Craniosacral Therapy: Craniosacral III Body Dialogue This advanced seminar explores current trauma theory and provides practical tools to help practitioners support clients more holistically through CranioSacral Therapy. Through lecture, demonstration, and hands-on practice, students will develop skills in assessment, somato-emotional dialogue, energetic techniques, and safe facilitation of emotional release. The course also covers appropriate triage and referral considerations when working with emotionally intense situations. Read more
Integrative Approach to Craniosacral Therapy: Pediatric Population This course introduces specific Craniosacral Therapy techniques for effectively working with pediatric patients, with an emphasis on hands-on practice across a variety of age groups. You will learn strategies for working with children and parents, review developmental milestones, and explore common pediatric conditions such as ear infections, GERD, colic, autism, and stuttering. Advanced Techniques I Advanced Techniques expands craniosacral therapy skills through the use of direct techniques, intraosseous bone palpation and remodeling, and advanced methods for spinal and cranial restrictions. The course includes detailed work with cranial base and suture releases, occipital and maxillary techniques, sinus drainage, mandibular releases, and brain palpation with motility assessment and balancing. Elemental Healing This class explores the healing properties of gemstones and teaches practitioners how to incorporate crystals into therapeutic sessions through hands-on practice and guided layouts. Students will learn gemstone history, cleansing and care techniques, and multiple application methods including chakra, aura, organ-specific, and craniosacral gemstone sessions.
