Faith Christensen ND

With over two decades of practice since 2001, Dr. Faith Christensen brings a rare combination of scientific expertise and intuitive care to naturopathic medicine. Trained as a Naturopathic Doctor and botanist — with degrees from Bastyr University, the University of Washington, and Excelsior College — Dr. Faith has spent her career weaving together the best of conventional and natural approaches to health. She founded Springs Natural Medicine in 2006 and Vita Vis, an organization dedicated to integrative continuing education for healthcare practitioners. Her toolkit spans the full spectrum of naturopathic medicine: craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, somatic integration, mindfulness, flower essences, herbal medicine, sound healing, dietary guidance, and supplementation. She has taught craniosacral therapy since 1998, authored six clinical manuals, and studied with leading practitioners worldwide.
Dr. Faith is a Trauma Informed Healthcare Provider, having completed Complex Trauma Certification Training Levels 1 & 2 (CCTP/CCTP-II) with Janina Fisher. She works extensively in psychedelic integration — supporting patients navigating ketamine, MDMA, psilocybin, and ayahuasca experiences — and has particular expertise in religious trauma. Across all of it, her approach stays rooted in the same principle: evidence-based science and holistic care aren’t in tension, they’re two lenses on the same picture, and the best support draws on both.
Dr. Faith is also the developer of Brain Balancing, a craniosacral-informed technique that works with the brain’s inherent motility to support cerebral perfusion, CSF flow, and communication between brain regions. She uses it to support patients navigating everything from concussion and post-TBI symptoms to trauma integration, psychedelic integration, and cognitive optimization for high performers — offered both in person and virtually. Beyond her own patients, Dr. Faith teaches Brain Balancing to licensed healthcare practitioners, training the next generation of providers to bring this work into their own practices.
What truly sets Dr. Faith apart is the depth of care she brings to each patient relationship. She believes that who you are today is shaped by everything you’ve experienced since conception — and that lasting health requires balancing mind, body, and spirit. She listens, she asks the questions others don’t, and she walks alongside her patients on their healing journey rather than simply prescribing a path. In her words: “My job is to be a witness and support for regaining health — so that people learn to identify and remove obstacles independently, becoming champions of health for themselves, their family, and their community.”
